The bags are almost in town!

Chloe Maxmin donated the $1000 from the Prudential Spirit of Community Award to buy the first installment of town-wide reusable bags. The donation is also being used as a challenge grant for local merchants, organizations, and citizens. The challenge grant has almost been met!
The CAC is going to buy the bags and sell them. 100% of the proceeds will go back to the CAC so they can keep buying more bags. This process relieves the merchants of any financial pressures. We have created a sustainable system with which we can continue the project for years to come.
We hope to have the bags in town by the summer!
