WCSH 6 Features the Climate Action Club in a Piece About Reusable Bags-

A new statewide campaign was launched on November 9th and the Climate Action Club was one of the first organizations WCSH 6 News Center went to for more information on the reusable bag initiative within Maine. Chloe Maxmin and Alex Hadik were interviewed for a short piece aired on the 6 o'clock news where they briefly discussed the Climate Action Club's reusable bag program. Hollywood Features the Climate Action Club-

A full year into the making, the Climate Action Club's episode of the Sundance Channel's "Big Ideas for a Small Planet" aired on October 20, 2009. The CAC also hosted a public showing (and world premiere) of the video on October 16 at the local library. Our work is out there! If you're curious- check out this fancy video they made just for us! Welcome to the Climate Action Club's website!

We are a student run club at Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, Maine. We are dedicated to raising awareness in our school and community about the current climate crisis. The CAC also provides channels through which our peers and community members can directly fight global warming.

All club members are extremely dedicated and committed to making our school and town a better place.
